逃走的女人

　　维奇（Harma Baweja饰）出身中上阶层社会，从小没有母亲，父亲没有时间与他相处。维奇冰冷孤独的世界让他变得脆弱而敏感。长期缺失爱和照顾，维奇不得不从别的地方寻找归宿。这个地方就离他的豪华公寓不远——黑帮聚集地。

　　Harris K. Telemacher is a "wacky weekend weatherman" for a local Los Angeles television station, who is searching for meaning in his otherwise cliché ridden Los Angeles life. With the help of an insightful and talkative Freeway sign, Harris embarks on a journey through Los Angeles in pursuit of Sarah, an English reporter who has been sent to the City of Angels to research an article for the London Times.

　　宾杜（阿琼·卡普尔 Arjun Kapoor 饰）受朋友的怂恿，决定前往马图拉参加一场婚礼。然而，他却在汽车站遭遇了一场意外，救下了被大恶棍加金德拉（舒普洛特·道特 Subrat Dutta 饰）抓住的少女迪卡拉（索娜什·辛哈 Sonakshi Sinha 饰）。原来，加金德拉在一次祭祀活动中看到迪卡拉，立刻一见钟情，并向迪卡拉的哥哥提出结婚请求。然而，哥哥并没有同意，反而羞辱了加金德拉，激怒了他。
　　恼羞成怒的加金德拉在怒火中杀了迪卡拉的哥哥。在惊慌之下，迪卡拉的家人为了保护她，将她送到了美国。然而，加金德拉却在这个时候抓住了迪卡拉，使得她无法逃脱他的掌控。

　　杰克（科尔·豪瑟 Cole Hauser 饰）和莫利（凯特·勒维宁 Kate Levering 饰）是一对平凡的夫妻，他们和收养来的儿子乔伊（Maxwell Perry Cotton 饰）过着平静而又安宁的生活。虽然乔伊并非亲生，但莫利和杰克早就将其视如己出。
　　一天，一通突如其来的电话让美好的生活化作了泡影。原来，乔伊的生父名叫瑞普（巴里·佩珀 Barry Pepper 饰），刚刚出狱的他同妻子温蒂（米拉·索维诺 Mira Sorvino 饰）做出了一个莽撞的决定，他们决定将乔伊从莫利和杰克的身边带走，去建立属于他们的新家庭。这一消息使夫妻二人陷入了极度恐慌，为了保护乔伊不被夺走，他们的脑海里开始酝酿出了一个计划。而在四个大人剑拔弩张之际，谁也没有想到去问一问作为当事人的乔伊心中的想法。

　　布莉（费莉西蒂·哈弗曼 Felicity Huffman 饰）是个性别倒错者，生就男儿身的他自幼认为自己应该是女人，因此成年后一直努力工作赚钱，一直接受荷尔蒙治疗，分步骤实行变性手术。就在最后一步正式“去势”的前夕，布莉接到来自纽约的意外消息，原来他有个儿子，是当年不小心的结果，如今快要成年，但当街卖身因此被警察拘留。布莉硬着头皮到纽约见到儿子陶比（凯文·齐格斯 Kevin Zegers 饰），隐瞒真实身份带他一路开车回家，一路相处布莉慢慢了解陶比对找到生父的执念，而陶比竟然爱上这位“大嫂”，这段古怪关系将以怎样的方式揭开真相……

　　罗宾自幼没有母爱，他非常渴望得到母爱。在自己的车队里他是头头，但是在与对手交战的时候意外得知对手是他的姐姐们。而此时被他们车队打败的尼特罗队卷土重来......

　　狄尔格在政治上是一个活跃分子，但被错误起诉，罪名是谋杀当地工厂工人，将被执行死刑，他越狱逃脱，受伤后闯入了一位女教师诺拉的家里，没想到她正准备把房子租给一位名声显赫的法学教授……

　　Carter meets Toni and impulsively marry him to find that they disagree on everything. They separate and seven years later on the eve before their divorce they meet again and spend the night together.

　　本片的基调基本阐述妻子和秘书两者的重要性，若男士是工作狂，那他会跟秘书相处的时间会久些；若把家庭排在人生首要位置，那宅家（即是面妻）的时间亦会久些。

　　一位儿子在父亲去世后坚忍地回到他的村庄，回忆起他们遇到的离奇的事件

　　An unassertive seventeen year old turns his high school on its head when he asks out his crush, a transgender classmate.

　　A quick glimpse at the cast for this film would make any horror fan giddy with glee. The actual movie doesn't live up to those high expectations, but it's far from being all bad. Desi Arnaz Jr. (!) plays an author who makes a crazy $20,000 bet with his publisher that he could write a great novel in only 24 hours. To do so, the publisher gives him the keys to an old abandoned house where he won't be disturbed. Not true. Once he gets there he is interrupted by a multitude of guests including a family which consists of John Carradine, Sheila Keith, Peter Cushing and Vincent Price. They are gathered there in a twisted family reunion to release their brother from the room he's been imprisoned in for forty years. Even Christopher Lee drops by as Corrigan, the man who has just purchased the house. Soon, they realize that the caged brother is loose and out for revenge.
　　What a great plotline and what a dream cast! This movie should have been a hell of a lot better. It's hard to pinpoint the exact problems with the film, but I would venture to say that the lack of lighting was a major fault. Sure the house has no electricity but I think they took the title of the movie a little too literally. Scenes after scenes are barely visible and the actors' faces are undecipherable. Only the moments in the main dinning hall are well lit. Also, the great actors are given very little to do. Cushing gets a few chuckles as the scared brother but Price, Lee and especially Carradine are somewhat wasted here. Well, at least Price gets the best line of the film: `Please don't interrupt me while I am soliloquizing.' And on the plus side, the story has enough twists and turns throughout to keep one`s interest and the ending, while a bit of a cop-out, manages to surprise.
