简介：没心没肺的高中生三人组伊坂透（市原隼人 饰）、本部晓（柄本佑 饰）、玉城哲雄（平冈佑太 饰）及其青梅竹马南风原唯（井上真央 饰）生活在冲绳，被阳光和海水滋润，日子过得好不惬意。这样的生活因为透的一次邂逅而发生改变。在水族馆打工的透遇到了比他年纪大气质不一般的美女中村渚（伊藤步 饰），对其一见钟情。因为一次偶然，透和晓、哲雄等人去听了一场极受欢迎的Hip-Hop 的演唱会。乐队的主唱良间凉太（玉山铁二 饰）更是万人迷般的存在。在演出现场，透又再次看到了渚。被Hip-Hop吸引的三人，或者说为了女生想耍帅的三人，决定自己组建乐队，把其命名为“098”。　　098乐队的组建正好赶上了一场乐队比赛，但结果却不如人意。失落的透又得知了心仪的美女渚就是万人迷凉太的女友。而这时哲雄也面临着升学的压力，被父亲要求离开乐队。098面临着解散的危机，究竟何去何从……

A host of nonprofessional children are cast as Moscow street kids, left homeless by the Bolshevik revolution. They get into all sorts of melodramatic scrapes until they're rounded up by kindly, altruistic Soviet functionaries. The children are reformed (in the nicest possible way) and made useful members of society. Road to Life is simplistic in its solutions to society's problems, albeit no more so than the usual Hollywood product from the same period.

In 1991, Daneliya earned the Nika Award (the Russian equivalent to an Oscar) for Best Screenplay for Pasport (1990).
