　　重启剧《夏威夷神探 Magnum P.I.》风格上类似《天堂执法者 Hawaii Five-0》，背景同样设在夏威夷，不过主角们是私家侦探，老版在1980-1988年播出。新版由Peter Lenkov及Eric Guggenheim负责剧本﹑林诣彬执导，在这版本主角 仍然是四人帮，不过不像旧版都是男性，而是改为三男一女；剧情讲述Thomas Magnum（Jay Hernandez饰）是获授勋的前海豹突击队成员，从阿富汗回国后他把自己的军事技能投放在当私家侦探上，而他的拍档包括前老兵Theodore “TC” Calvin及Orville “Rick” Wright，以及被除名的前MI6特工Juliet Higgins，他们一同调查各种奇怪的案件。
　　Perdita Weeks饰演Juliet Higgins，是作家Robin Masters的夏威夷物业管理人，Thomas在剧中表面上为Robin当安保并住在他的客房。Juliet擅长指挥﹑自信﹑坚强，口头上爱吐糟。Zachary Knighton饰演Rick，前海军陆战队舱门射手（直升机枪击手）的他现在经营着欧胡岛最受欢迎的夜总会；主角与他关系密切，因为三名男主都曾在伊拉克成为战俘。而在夏威夷，Rick则是协助主角找东西的最佳选择。Stephen Hill饰演Theodore “TC” Calvin，前海军陆战队直升机机师，他经营着夏威夷最小但亦最优质的直升机导览公司「Island Hoppers」；因皆当过战俘的关系，TC成了Thomas最忠诚的朋友之一。

　　下岗工人马冬生（张国强 饰）因为女儿马瑾突然得重症，蒙面抢劫了一家“黑店”。这家店的老板李兵当年曾强暴过马冬生的徒弟，负责此案的刑警队长于超（何冰 饰）竟是熟人。但是这起案件却带出了一桩贪腐案件和制贩毒大案。李兵的姐夫副市长陈子韬千方百计地想掩盖真相，甚至制造出让人顶包的闹剧。不料，马冬生没有就此逃脱，他以匿名信的方式，向于超揭露了这个阴谋，并承诺自己会投案自首。
　　随着案件的侦破，于超意识到犯罪嫌疑人就是马冬生，同时也弄清了马瑾的病因实为一个制贩毒团伙的“人体试验”所致，被陈子韬控制的市公安局副局长谭季平，充当了“保护伞”。然而，于超的恪尽职守的品格也感动了马冬生，他选择了自首，这也是于超留给他最后的机会。

　　美剧《血族》改编自吉尔莫·德尔·托罗和Chuck Hogan联合出版的同名小说。承接第一季剧情，在本季中，人类和吸血鬼之间的战争仍在继续， “血祖”The Master 继续实施他的邪恶计划，而病毒已遍布全美，幸存者们不仅要对抗反派，还要继续寻找治疗病毒的方法。据悉，原著角色“昆兰”将登场，第一季血族突击队队长并非真正的昆兰。
