　　由出品四届艾美奖最佳影集【广告狂人】、两届艾美奖最佳影集【绝命毒师】、艾美奖四项提名作品【谋杀】和金球奖最佳影集提名及美国最高收视电视作品【行尸走肉】的金奖电视网AMC，与出品BAFTA英国电影和电视艺术学院奖最佳电视影集【乌托邦】、 【小镇疑云】的英国电视4台，跨越国界，双剑合璧，携手联合制作的八集电视影集《真实的人类》将于六月廿八日晚上九时在美国首映。这出全新科幻影集改编自备受评论界激赞的瑞典获奖科幻影集《Real Humans》，并由英国编剧Sam Vincent 和Jonathan Brackley (【反恐谍报战】) 执笔重新创作剧本。该剧设定在机器人Synth被繁忙都市人广泛使用的世界，呈现人类与机器人的界限愈发模糊后，扣人心弦的矛盾冲突、心理冲击与道德拷问。

　　张翠山（任达华 饰）系武当派掌门人张三丰（鲍方 饰）的第五代弟子，某日，他遭到了金毛狮王谢逊（曾江 饰）的挟持，来到了冰火岛上。在那里，张翠山邂逅了天鹰教教主的女儿殷素素（郑裕玲 饰），两人情投意合，结为夫妻，生了一个孩子取名张无忌（梁朝伟 饰）。

　　公元前52年，罗马共和国正值鼎盛时期，执政官庞贝（里克•沃登 Rick Warden 饰）坐守都城，盟友凯撒（塞伦•希德 Ciarán Hinds 饰）征战高卢。期间，第13军团屡立战功，主将乌里纳斯（凯文•马克德 Kevin McKidd 饰）有勇有谋，手下波罗（雷•史蒂文森 Ray Stevenson 饰）虽嗜酒如命，却忠肝义胆。适逢凯撒得胜，屋大维遵母命赴前线慰问，不想途中遭劫，被经过的乌里纳斯和波罗救下。13军团凯旋，乌里纳斯与阔别8年的妻子相见，却各怀心事。波罗偶然间发现了乌里纳斯妻子红杏出墙的事实，为了保护长官的名誉，波罗在屋大维的帮助下，逼出了真相。凯撒准备独揽大权，一直等待时机。庞贝看出了他的野心，与元老院众人商议，其中以西塞罗为首的贵族势力，坚持认为凯撒为共和国叛徒，应诛杀之。而此时，凯撒的大将安东尼（杰姆斯•鲍弗 James Purefoy 饰）接任了护民官，与庞贝一伙展开周旋……

　　该剧以真实的故事为原型，紧贴人民群众,围绕“资源枯竭型城市转型”这一主题展开故事。
　　上世纪末贵州万山特区，因汞资源枯竭而面临绝境。第三代汞矿人冯白杨，抱着极强的责任感和使命感，试图转型以重振汞矿辉煌，但最终难敌国企改革大潮，二万职工陷入绝境。2008年又遇百年难遇凝冻灾害，万山人的心降到了冰点，冯白杨带领万山干部群众感恩奋进、艰苦奋斗，一产、二产、三产三辆马车齐头奋进，以科技创新、绿色发展为前提，实现转型发展，使一个资源枯竭的城市浴火重生，创新发展梦想成真。

　　精武会自霍元甲、陈真死后，由霍之徒弟刘镇山（刘家辉）继任声望渐隆，却遭日本武道人士陷害招致灭门，山带师弟郭大路（林文龙）、宗致豪（欧瑞伟）、霍东扬（胡越山）、马铁虎（黄振宁）等人辗转逃亡，终于至香江决心重建精武会，人称「 精武五虎」。
　　雄鹰会馆馆主李朗奚（王伟）横行香江，收买武林高手踢馆，五虎不敌，精武牌匾被毁，悲愤之余，使五虎勤苦练功。路天资聪颖更集四虎武功精髓，进步神速，却与华人买办之女方剑瑛（江欣燕）产生刻骨铭心的爱情。路面对爱恨交缠与五虎濒临决裂的困境，他该如何处理？

　　Plot of the series:
　　In the series “Catherine Season 4 Favorites,” the reign of the Great Empress of Russia, Catherine Alekseevna II, continues. The events take place in 1779, when the queen has been on the throne for seventeen years and has reached the peak of her greatness. 　　全剧不只刻画了张无忌、周芷若和赵敏的三角关系，还穿插了杨逍（张兆辉 饰）与纪晓芙（滕丽名 饰），杨不悔与殷梨亭（莫家尧 饰）的感人爱情，成为了TVB的又一武侠经典。
