“花儿朵朵”是一档由青海卫视与湖南经视为主导、与湖南广电资源共享的的选秀活动。选秀对象为年满18岁或以上具备歌唱才艺的女生。“花儿朵朵”名称来自流传在甘肃、青海、宁夏广大地区的民歌“花儿”，也寓意着民俗风、原生态等更多的音乐元素将出现在选秀中。
