　　此剧以理发店为背景讲述想要热爱自己努力奋斗的职场人们的故事。
　　金香起剧中饰演在刚开业3个月的“飞起来吧蝴蝶”理发店里实习的20代初半高兴一角。她是实习生中最年幼的人，早早地放弃学业，在美容业里努力打拼奋斗已有5年时间，虽然是个预备理发师但是不擅长社会生活，是个小心谨慎的人。

　　由Shondaland制片﹑《实习医生格蕾》制作人 Stacy McKee执笔的衍生剧背景在西雅图消防局，讲述一群英勇的消防员，上至队长下至菜鸟的他们冒着自己生命安全去拯救民众。Jaina Lee Ortiz饰演衍生剧女主角Andy Herrera，而《实习医生格蕾》的角色Ben Warren医生（Jason George饰）会先继续在母剧出场，然后转往衍生剧里。
