　　雷文凤（万梓良 饰）的母亲因为遭到了庸医的误诊而遭遇了活活被烧死的悲惨命运，当时年幼的雷文凤目睹了一切，幼小的心灵萌受了巨大的伤害。自此之后，雷文凤和父亲雷崭之间的关系急转直下，他的性格也因此而变得乖僻又古怪。

　　该剧由《黑客军团》主创山姆·艾斯梅尔打造，本月新开拍，改编自《好莱坞报道者》2017年的一篇报道，聚焦真实人物：1980年代，在洛杉矶通过亮相广告牌和客串各种电影、剧集而成为名人的Angelyne，她是自我推广的著名例子，以广告牌女郎形象和开粉色豪车为标志，但她的真实身份长期保密。THR那篇报道是几十年后第一次曝光了她的真实名字：Renee Goldberg。

　　上世纪90年代，从宁夏贫瘠甲天下的西海固地区搬迁到玉泉营地区的移民们，从无到有地建设着他们的新家园，村干部马得福（黄轩 饰）操心着通电、灌溉用水等桩桩件件的问题，他足够努力，却不自信未来什么时候来。直到国家新的扶贫政策出台，福建对宁夏的扶贫事业进行对口援助，并建立了合作样板闽宁村，陈金山（郭京飞 饰）、凌一农（黄觉 饰）等一批优秀的福建干部、技术人员为闽宁镇洒下奋斗的汗水，帮助得福找到了未来的方向，白麦苗（黄尧 饰）、马得宝（白宇帆 饰）、李水花（热依扎 饰）等村里的年轻人也通过劳务输入、发展庭院经济等收获了自信。在发展的过程中，传统与现代，物质文明与精神文明，寻根与断根等问题不断突显，对于马喊水（张嘉益 饰）、白校长（祖峰 饰）、李大有（尤勇智 饰）这些上一辈的人们而言，挑战和转变也在不断发生着。从西海固走出的人们没有忘记他们的初心，他们没有断根，而是把根扎在了这片更肥沃的地方，互相扶持着走上了康庄大道。

　　为了给母亲治病，生长在大山里的青年张三斤（沈腾 饰）带着母亲来到了车水马龙的繁华大都市深圳，在这里一边工作一边照顾母亲。一场意外中，张三斤结识了美丽的盲女花儿（许龄月 饰），花儿十分同情张三斤和他母亲的遭遇，主动来到了张三斤家，肩负起了照顾老太太的责任，令张三斤十分感动。最终，两人走到了一起，携手步入了婚礼的殿堂。
　　花儿自幼喜欢唱歌，她的声音空灵而又美好，常常能够打动人心。终于，花儿的才华得到了听众们的肯定，她一夜爆红，成为了家喻户晓的明星，而她的眼疾亦因此有了治愈的希望。虽然打心眼里替妻子感到高兴，但张三斤感受到的更多的是不安与自卑。

　　故事聚焦Dutton一家在多年前西进的旅程，他们穿越大平原前往美国最后一站蛮荒之地，在应许之地蒙大拿寻求更美好的未来。艾里奥特饰演强硬的牛仔Shea Brennan，有着非常悲伤的过去，他承担着带领一群人从德克萨斯前往蒙大拿的艰巨任务，绝不容忍蠢人。麦格罗和希尔饰演Dutton家族的男女家长James和Margaret。

　　Plot of the series:
　　In the series “Catherine Season 4 Favorites,” the reign of the Great Empress of Russia, Catherine Alekseevna II, continues.
