　　罗英子、邱华和夏舒被良诚律所扫地出门了。罗英子怀疑此事与她正在帮梅大梁查的一桩旧案有关。为了生存，三人开起了律所。
　　陈硕为了追求罗英子跳槽到良诚律所，却扑了个空。罗英子依旧不接受陈硕，却倾心于新的合作伙伴许卓。陈硕暗中帮罗英子揭开了梅大梁旧案的真相，发现始作俑者正是许卓。许卓将陈硕陷害入狱，关键时刻，罗英子正视了自己的感情，成为陈硕的辩护人，最终将许卓绳之以法。
　　罗英子和陈硕的感情终于进了一步，而她和邱华、夏舒的事业也走上正轨，众人在困境中再一次完成了各自的蜕变和成长。

　　徐坦（白敬亭 饰）是个性格非常内向的男孩，在热爱乒乓球运动的爷爷的影响下，徐坦亦开始学习打乒乓球，就在他准备放弃的节骨眼上，一位经验丰富的教练在徐坦的身上发现了过人的天赋，通过系统而又严格的训练，徐坦的技术突飞猛进，很快就成为了球队里的中流砥柱。
　　于克南（许魏洲 饰）的父亲曾是乒乓球国手，在父亲的教导之下，于克南的球技自然不容小觑，甚至被人称之为天才，他的性格也受此影响桀骜不驯狂放不羁。这样两个个性大相径庭的男孩，他们在球队里相逢了，他们从彼此的身上看到了自己所不具备的特指，互相较劲，共同进步。

　　正值事业春天的汪国栋（崔雨鑫 饰）在一个风和日丽的下午，收到了初恋情人柳冰（刘世琳 饰）葬礼的邀请函。已经而立之年的他在和柳冰分开的这些年中，曾经无数次幻想过和她再次重逢的场面，但没有一种是这样决绝的方式。她的死，把汪国栋被分手这些年对这个女人所有的怨恨和不甘心都反转成了最初的爱情，带着一堆问号和对柳冰的思念，汪国栋回到了当初他们从小一起长大的城市。在柳冰的葬礼上，他不仅重逢了这些年因为误解失去联系的少年挚友刘二斤（杨默 饰）和方杠子（陈欣 饰），还有这次葬礼的主人公，活着的柳冰。柳冰的出现，让汪国栋觉得自己再一次被她无情的耍了，也把他的回忆调整到了十几年前，不得不记起那些最真挚却又最想忘记的过往。然而得到了真相的汪国栋仿佛在找回过往的瞬间又再次失去了一切。

　　何奇通（郭蔼明 饰）是“奇通私家侦探社”的负责人，在一次帮助一名女子搜集她的警察丈夫出轨的证据时，与警察耀祖（郭晋安 饰）相遇了。耀祖处处帮助同事掩饰婚外情，令到奇通对他这种臭男人十分讨厌，认为他也是一路货色。奇通的父亲在她小时候就是因婚外情出走，留下母亲郁郁而终，而奇通也只得在侦探社负责人德叔（秦沛 饰）的照料下长大，所以奇通生平最痛恨出轨的男人。终于奇通完成了任务搜集够了证据，却与耀祖结下了梁子。随后，奇通重遇了中学好友宝怡（汤宝如 饰），更得知宝怡竟是耀祖女友，奇通处处提醒宝怡要提防耀祖，更教她跟踪术，搞得耀祖不胜其烦。一次耀祖因工作需要出入色情场所被奇通拍下了照片，阿怡拿着照片想耀祖质问，令耀祖工作受到了影响，自此他更是讨厌奇通。
　　随后阿怡怀上了身孕，准备和耀祖结婚，岂料结婚当日阿怡却突然失踪了。深爱阿怡的耀祖四出寻找，最后因旷工多日被开除出警队。奇通可怜耀祖，觉得自己对他搞成这样也负有一定责任，于是通过德叔邀请耀祖加入他们的侦探社，耀祖一方面想找回未婚妻，一方面迫于生活压力，最终加入了侦探社。于是，他们开始了一段又一段情事缉私档案。
