　　Stellar cast confirmed for major new Steven Moffat drama Inside Man, for BBC One and Netflix
　　David Tennant (Des; Staged; Doctor Who), Dolly Wells (The Pursuit Of Love; Dracula; Can You Ever Forgive Me?) and Lydia West (It’s A Sin; Years And Years; Dracula) will lead the cast of a major new thriller from BAFTA and Emmy award-winning writer Steven Moffat (Dracula, Sherlock, Doctor Who), alongside Stanley Tucci (Feud; The King’s Man; Spotlight) in the title role of the Inside Man.
　　Produced by Hartswood Films for BBC One and Netflix, it will be directed by Paul McGuigan (Sherlock; Dracula; Film Stars Don’t Die In Liverpool).
　　The captivating four part mini-series follows a prisoner on death row in the US, a Vicar in a quiet English town, and a maths teacher trapped in a cellar, as they cross paths in the most unexpected way…
　　Husband and wife team Steven Moffat and Sue Vertue, executive producer for Hartswood Films, say: “We’re a bit stunned, and very excited, at the acting talent we’re managing to assemble for this show. Can’t wait to crawl out of our lockdown bunker and get to work.”

　　Inside Man is a 4x60 drama for BBC One and Netflix. It is created and written by Steven Moffat, directed by Paul McGuigan, with Alex Mercer as producer. Executive producers are Sue Vertue for Hartswood Films and Ben Irving for the BBC. Chris Sussman will oversee for Netflix. It was commissioned by Charlotte Moore, BBC Chief Content Officer, and Piers Wenger, Director of BBC Drama. BBC Studios are the international distributors and brokered the deal with Netflix.
　　The series will premiere on BBC One and BBC iPlayer in the UK and on Netflix outside of the UK and Ireland. Filming will take place later this year.

　　Former police detective Adrian Monk (Tony Shalhoub), whose photographic memory and amazing ability to piece together tiny clues made him a local legend, has suffered from intensified obsessive-compulsive disorder and a variety of phobias since the unsolved murder of his wife, Trudy, in 1997. Now on psychiatric leave from the San Francisco Police Department and working as a freelance detective/ consultant on difficult cases, Monk hopes to convince his former boss, Captain Leland Stottlemeyer (Ted Levine), to allow him to return to the force. Stottlemeyer, who wavered between admiration for Monk and annoyance at his eccentricities during the first season, is becoming more of a friend to Monk as the series develops, frequently calling him in to help, as much for Monk's benefit as for his own. However, he knows Monk's limitations as well as his strengths and may still harbor doubts about the wisdom of allowing Monk to carry a gun or subdue a perpetrator. Stottlemeyer's second-in-command, Lieutenant Randall Disher (Jason Gray-Stanford), also seems to be developing both admiration and compassion for the man he once labeled "the defective detective."
　　Despite flaws and inadequacies all around, the three are becoming an increasingly effective team, with additional help from Monk's personal assistant. From the double-episode pilot through the first half of season three, Monk was aided by his nurse, Sharona Fleming (Bitty Schram). But in the tenth episode of the third season, Sharona was replaced by a new assistant, Natalie Teeger (Traylor Howard). Like Sharona, a divorcee with a son named Benjy, Natalie is a single parent, a widow with a daughter named Julie (Emmy Clarke). Unlike Sharona, Natalie is not a nurse but a former bartender with a fresh perspective on "Mr. Monk," as she still addresses her new boss.

　　周南风（胡文煊 饰）借日记本穿越回秦知意（周漾 饰）婚变前，试图阻止钟子夜（黄怀霆 饰）向秦知意复仇。时空交错中，钟子夜紧随穿越，不断制造误会离间周南风、秦知意二人。当钟子夜意外死亡，周南风为护秦知意而牺牲，秦知意才知晓穿越真相。当秦知意借着日记本再度穿越，她终于发现当年的一切都与钟子夜喜欢的人宋星月（宋昭艺 饰）有关，四人陷入死亡闭环——爱恨因果在时空中纠缠，真相在血色迷雾中愈发扑朔迷离。

　　安琪（杨幂 饰）和安娜（郭珍霓 饰）本是情同手足的姐妹，却因为爱上了同一个男人刘辰熙（冯绍峰 饰）而反目成仇，从此分道扬镳。安娜考上了大学前往上海深造，而落榜的安琪则幸运的遇见了名为赵天佑（张伦硕 饰）的服装设计师，就此开启了她的圆梦之旅。
　　一晃眼三年过去，安娜妒忌安琪的幸运和努力，不惜使用一切手段排挤安琪，最终使其沦为清洁工，然而，尽管遭到了妹妹的苛待，但安琪对安娜却没有一丝憎恨，在安琪的心里，安娜永远是自己天真可爱的妹妹。落魄的安琪再度遇见了赵英佑，在后者的帮助下，安琪成为了能够和安娜抗衡的设计师，姐妹两人将T台视为战场，开始了一场激烈的角逐。

　　图书管理员林玉莲（谢仙 饰）和毕业生李世林（高鑫 饰）真心相爱，但由于世林在老家有童养媳巧芳，导致了一系列问题。李世林的父亲责打了他，而巧芳为保护丈夫挨了李父一棍，受伤严重，需要送往日本救治。这一系列的事件为故事奠定了悲剧的基调。
　　在巧芳伤愈后，她却丧失了生育能力。于是，李家支付重金向玉莲的哥哥明辉购买了孩子，并希望明辉能够促使玉莲尽快改嫁。在明辉的压力下，玉莲最终嫁给了世林的老同学于伟。然而，于伟的母亲得知玉莲有一个7岁大的孩子后，非常生气地将玉莲赶出家门。然而，在于伟被烧伤之后，以及明辉深陷矿难之后，世林和玉莲选择放下过去的恩怨，用博爱之心施以援手。

　　张灏（尼坤 饰）从小在国外长大，为了念大学，他回到了国内。没过多久，个性开朗独立的张灏便结识了罗曼（徐璐 饰）和李修齐（蒋劲夫 饰）等一干有趣的朋友们，几人组建了一支校园乐队，酒吧老板丁玲（朱丹 饰）为他们提供了绝好的演出机会。
　　虽然英俊帅气的张灏在女生中人气极高，但在他的内心里，于旅行中邂逅的女孩舒晴（于文文 饰）占据了十分重要的位，然而，当张灏与舒晴重逢之时，舒晴的冷淡和拒绝让张灏伤透了心。之后，张灏和曾是死对头的罗曼越走越近，两人之间渐渐产生了真挚的感情，与此同时，李修齐亦发现，罗曼早就在不知不觉间偷走了自己的心。
