　　为了寻找失联的卧底，卓凯等人再度遁入血雨腥风之中……

　　Plot of the series:
　　In the series “Catherine Season 4 Favorites,” the reign of the Great Empress of Russia, Catherine Alekseevna II, continues. The events take place in 1779, when the queen has been on the throne for seventeen years and has reached the peak of her greatness. Her fame spread not only to neighboring countries, but throughout Europe. Such a nickname as “Great” was assigned to her by the high society of Europe, thanks to the efforts of the influential Princess Dashkova, who was always devoted to Catherine II.
　　Upon returning from abroad, Catherine II is helped by the ruler’s main associate, Ekaterina Romanovna Dashkova. 　　黄家为警察世家，黄蒂（李婉华）乃家中长女，警署中则为四当家，是帮办一粒花，性格爽朗，兼且神经质，但做起事却甚具权威。父黄家景（楚原）为人过份客套但乐天，当年因过失被眨为处长司机，但仍以在警局工作为荣。母黄廖仲好（卢宛茵）知命乐天，以作“妈打”为人生目标，但欠奉“妈打”之精明。蒂妹黄菲（黎海珊）为军装女警，为人冒失不整齐。三弟黄发（郑敬基）为科大学生，生于女权至上之家，故羡慕表哥廖通泰（吴镇宇），泰业货车运输，幼丧母，外表粗豪不羁，为人重情义，泰与蒂为先天性冤家。
　　泰父廖仲德（秦煌）为警署饭堂老板，做事没计划，属男人五十戆居居之辈。景契女林凤琪（翁慧德）为任性大女人，与男友刘青山（欧阳震华）同居，山被泰耻笑为有被虐狂之癖男人，常教唆山与琪对抗，故琪及蒂联袂对付泰。及后，泰爱上十全十美之警花郑月英（翁杏兰），琪及蒂诸多破坏，泰与蒂斗气之余，始发觉所爱竟是对方……

　　本套剧集最初创意来自于恐怖片导演米克•加利斯（Mick Garris），2002年他和一众业内同好在加州共餐。席间他们相谈甚欢，惺惺相惜。在此之后，加利斯召集席间的10位导演以及其他恐怖流的高手相约共同打造一套恐怖片剧集。2005年，加利斯身兼制作人和导演两个职务，打造出每集1小时的“恐怖大师”系列（总共两季26集），唐•卡斯卡尔利、斯图尔特•戈登、三池崇史、约翰•麦克诺顿、鹤田法男等名声显赫的导演相继参与其中，联合为恐怖片爱好者奉上惊险刺激的恐怖盛宴。
　　本剧集荣获2006年艾美奖杰出主题音乐奖、2006年Sitges – Catalonian国际电影节最佳剧本和评委会特别奖。
