　　本剧为2012无线节目巡礼剧集之一。
　　保护证人组督察许玮琛（黄宗泽 饰）奉命保护受袭的名人乔江河（蒋志光 饰），乔江河是“商场魔术手”乔江山（秦沛 饰）的胞弟。江河得罪了一名沈阳有势力人士熊飞，招致杀身之祸。警方建议江河接受保护证人组的保护，因此，玮琛认识了江河的侄女、江山的女儿乔子琳（钟嘉欣 饰）。子琳性格乖僻，对人冷漠，甚至有点不近人情。玮琛和队员与子琳接触初期，都认为子琳是被宠坏的富家千金，对周遭的人和事都不闻不问。在保护子琳的日子里，玮琛曾不顾危险，以身犯险救了子琳，子琳对玮琛暗生好感，更不理江山反对，主动展开追求！江山眼见女儿变得开朗主动，逐渐软化默许，但一个三十年前的故人黎树风（李国麟 饰）突然回来，掀引着各人的神经线，玮琛发现黎树风与乔氏兄弟之间有着不为人知的秘密，令玮琛陷于困局，挣扎于公义及爱情之间……

　　Filming has started on BBC Two’s critically acclaimed drama The Last Kingdom, from Carnival Films.
