　　这部悲喜剧讲述在长岛的一个中产阶级小镇上，三位女主角在共同好友过世后，开始面对人生苦短的事实。为了找寻幸福，她们做出一连串冲动、不理智、自我放纵的决定，不过这些经历令她们团结起来。

　　Plot of the series:
　　In the series “Catherine Season 4 Favorites,” the reign of the Great Empress of Russia, Catherine Alekseevna II, continues. The events take place in 1779, when the queen has been on the throne for seventeen years and has reached the peak of her greatness. Her fame spread not only to neighboring countries, but throughout Europe. Such a nickname as “Great” was assigned to her by the high society of Europe, thanks to the efforts of the influential Princess Dashkova, who was always devoted to Catherine II.
　　Upon returning from abroad, Catherine II is helped by the ruler’s main associate, Ekaterina Romanovna Dashkova. Meanwhile, her husband mentioned in the series, Prince Grigory Alexandrovich Potemkin, remaining in second place in the State, is no longer her favorite. 　　前作主演Jennifer Beals(饰演Bette)、Katherine Moennig(饰Shane)、Leisha Hailey(饰Alice)回归出演原角色，并和前作制作人Ilene Chaiken一起任执行制作，还会有一些全新角色。
　　新季是老版的续集，运作人为Marja-Lewis Ryan(2010年喜剧片《四角恋》编剧、《6 Balloons》导演兼编剧)，共8集。

　　故事发生在当代的香港长洲。而立之年的张保生（黄浩然 饰）有两个志趣相投的、情同手足的朋友，他们是当医生的程礼荣（陈展鹏 饰）和当邮差的陈满基（扬明 饰）。街坊会主席胜妹委派保生协助美国回港的电视制作人郑抱抱（陈茵微 饰）拍片，无奈保生才疏学浅，笑话百出。礼荣在一次医疗事故中遭人陷害，后在老医生关心仁（周聪 饰）开导下终成长洲仁医。此时，当年绝他而去的恋人希雯（李诗韵 饰）重返长洲，重新相见，两人百感交集。希雯决定洗尽铅华重新创业，礼荣母亲刘妙莲（卢宛茵 饰）怕儿子旧情复燃，极力阻止其接近希雯。保生为阻止他所认为的抱抱与胜妹的“奸情”，结果弄巧成拙。保生的妹妹文凤（乐瞳 饰）一心要踏入演艺圈，不料，唱片公司总监早已对她起了色心......

　　故事发生在五十年代末的九龙城寨，左勾拳（陈展鹏 饰）和段迎风（袁伟豪 饰）的父亲均为名震千里的八极拳宗师，哪知道一场阴谋使得段迎风失去了父亲，而左勾拳的父亲则沦为了杀人凶手含冤自尽，左勾拳亦因此和妹妹失散，离开了九龙城寨，前往澳门谋生。
　　一晃眼十五年过去，已经长大成人的左勾拳回到了九龙城寨这片伤心地，只为了寻找妹妹的下落，哪知道此处早已经物是人非，冯春美（吴家乐 饰）、柯万长（张国强 饰）和福寿金（林伟 饰）三大黑恶势力头目三足鼎立一手遮天，令九龙城寨的居民们终日生活在恐惧之中。正直的左勾拳向三人发起了挑战，他的勇气亦感染了段迎风，两人再度联手，组成了九龙城寨街坊福利会，惩恶扬善，行侠仗义。

　　讲述了神秘世外高手艳少（高伟光 饰）救下惨遭鬼谷盟陷害且失忆的女刀客容疏狂（宣璐 饰）后，将其护送回御驰山庄……没想到山庄内暗流涌动，江湖中阴谋不断，各门派纷争不休。两人被迫卷入刀光剑影的江湖斗争，携手惩恶扬善，共抗邪恶势力鬼谷盟。然而前尘与现世迷局也正待两人揭开……

　　CW热门美剧《绿箭侠》的金童玉女斯蒂芬·阿梅尔和凯蒂·卡西迪声称。两人在剧中本是一对旧情人，不过因为各种原因分手当前任。英雄配美女这样老套的搭配并没有出现在剧中，而是升华为“英雄惜英雄”——凯蒂饰演绿箭侠前女友Laurel，在剧中表面是一个不向恶势力低头的正义女律师，而 实际上却是超级女英雄“黑金丝雀”Black Canary。俗话说男女搭配干活不累，男女英雄亦是如此。

　　22年前的朱莎娇（薛家燕 饰）是澳门某夜总会的台柱，与港大学生祝展辉相遇后发生了一段情不久便怀孕了，无奈展辉要远赴纽约进修，朱莎娇诞下了女儿祝君好（佘诗曼 饰），此后独自抚养。娇的金兰姐妹文贵芳因不堪男友的抛弃的打击，逼儿子文初（张智霖 饰）喝下了腐蚀性液体，幸好及时发 现才救回了文初的生命，但文初从此变成了哑巴，娇可怜文初，便收养了他。
　　20年后，君好与文初都长大成人了，以兄妹相称之余两人都十分孝顺娇。金胜（唐文龙 饰）是文初的好朋友，胜对文初也十分照顾，每当文受欺负他都挺身而出。君好终于在这时见到了亲生父亲展辉，认识了展辉的爱徒司徒礼信（马浚伟 饰）。
　　礼信非常关心文初是否能医治声带，想尽办法帮忙寻找医生。文初再次遇到了生母，但是在母子相认之后，生母却选择了给文初假地址再次离开。这时，文初与礼信都发现了自己爱上了君好，文初希望君好得到幸福而主动退出了三角关系。文初得到了礼信介绍医生的治疗下能恢复说话的能力后继续与娇生活。而娇为了君好的前程，故意一反常态，希望君好能离开自己……
