The film reveals the mechanisms behind the weakening of democratic principles in the United States through evangelical fundamentalism. Religious groups and popular TV pastors proclaim the coming of the end of the world just as the Bible says. They see its origins in the coronavirus crisis, the unrest in the Middle East, and the potential development of LGBTQIA+ rights. 简介：“新时代好少年”先进事迹发布活动由中央文明办、教育部、共青团中央、全国妇联、中国关心下一代工作委员会举办。活动将宣传发布8名优秀青少年的先进事迹，树立更多优秀青少年典型，引导广大未成年人“扣好人生第一粒扣子”，努力成长为担当民族复兴大任的时代新人。本次发布活动将以“乘风立志少年时”为主题内核，通过青春生动的事迹发布和紧扣主题的节目呈现，向观众讲述八件2023年度新时代好少年的先进事迹、展现少年品质。节目将用多元的表现手法，讲好每个少年的故事；邀请到同领域优秀榜样及前辈，展现每个少年荣光，激励广大少年种下信仰的种子；也将通过不同领域的优秀少年团体的创新表演，表达少年立鸿鹄志、做奋斗者的信念与决心。
