　　改编自夏尔曼·威尔克森（Charmaine Wilkerson）的同名小说《黑蛋糕》（Black Cake），讲述了一对兄妹试图揭开母亲过去的故事。这是一场发现之旅，他们从加勒比海到伦敦再到加州，最终以母亲最拿手的黑蛋糕结束。

　　Shooting will begin this month on the series that stars double-BAFTA nominee Simm as Gray Wright. When the provisions of Jack’s final will and testament are made known, his third wife Sally (Amuka-Bird) and sons are shocked to discover they have been largely cut out of his enormous fortune. As DCI Morgan and DC Jones delve further into the case, they realize Jack’s cause of death was in fact murder. Their sights turn to the Wright family, where the mother of all feuds is beginning. 　　该剧讲述了随着中国第一艘航母平台开始出海试航，中国海军成立了首支舰载机试飞大队，以谢振宇、余涛为代表的顶尖青年飞行员，在海军功勋飞行员秦大地大队长的带领下，以严谨的科学态度和时不我待的使命意识，攻克了舰载机着舰和起飞技术这一世界性难题。中国航母终于成军，谢振宇和余涛传承了老一辈的“海空雄鹰精神”，率领中国舰载机机群在辽阔海空上展翅翱翔。

　　故事发生在晚清时期，广东省一个偏远小镇—潮丰镇。镇中女子许静（陈敏儿）嫁夫郑贵元（杨泽霖），育一子郑仲生，与家姑及小叔贵开（刘青云）一家生活平淡。 　　不幸兵战连年，饥民大量流入镇内，镇长命码头总管何四（刘江）派米赈灾，怎知何四从中贪污，以沙混米，引起饥民暴动，挟持妓院老板娘醉蝶（欧阳佩珊）夺取银两。贵元身为捕头，前往调解时被饥民错手枪杀，许静顿成寡妇。此时乡间妹妹迎弟（曾华倩）前往投靠许静，令静百上加斤。 　　贵开痴恋迎弟，更因而得罪死对头何四，招致杀身之祸。静凭着胆色及醉蝶的暗助，令开得以洗脱罪名，镇长因而对静另眼相看，委任为女捕头，静为了家计答允。静当女捕头后备受各方压力，更得知醉蝶与其夫生前有染，百感交集，其子仲生也因静疏于管教，离家出走，并染上瘟疫，幸得逃犯古泽仁（高雄）相救。静与弟均恋上泽仁，险令姊妹反目，幸有醉蝶中调停，弟重投开怀抱。泽仁念念不忘救命恩人醉蝶，后之醉蝶为青楼女子甚感失望，而许静得知泽仁与醉蝶相好，甚为沮丧，而泽仁逃犯的身分被揭穿，静受命捉仁归案，静会否放过仁、蝶？剧中自有交代。

　　Season four follows the main characters in the aftermath of the decisions they made in the last season.
