　　乔天生（程展鹏 饰）和罗威信（萧正楠 饰）是同母异父的兄弟，一场意外之中，两人失散，乔天生独自流落到了香港，而罗威信则和母亲一起来到了厦门。身处两地，兄弟两人都在努力的应付状况百出的生活，一晃眼数十年过去，命运将两人重新联系到了一起。
　　乔天生的女友名为卓静（钟嘉欣 饰），两人交往多年，感情十分要好。喜爱服装设计的卓静一直希望能够创建自己的品牌，为了完成卓静的梦想，乔天生不惜巴结各路名流，企图跻身上流社会，不仅如此，出于利益，他甚至和并不爱的交际花（贝安琪 饰）发生了关系。在此过程中，卓静和乔天生之间的误会越来越深，两人的感情渐渐产生了裂痕。

　　该剧是“永生宇宙”第二部剧，改编自Anne Rice的“梅菲尔女巫家史 Lives of the Mayfair Witches”三部曲。
　　故事讲述直觉敏锐的年轻神经外科医生Rowan Fielding，她发现自己是一个女巫家族意料之外的继承人。她在努力面对新获得的力量时，还必须应对一种困扰了自己家族几代人的邪恶存在。
　　该电视剧宇宙根据Anne Rice的“吸血鬼编年史-梅菲尔女巫”系列小说打造，制片人Mark Johnson（《绝命毒师》《风骚律师》）担任领头人，Anne生前和儿子Christopher Rice担任非编剧执行制片。

　　第二季在BBC的原剧风格之上进行了重大突破，使得故事情节要更具美式的幽默感。 人际关系也成为了第二季的焦点，不仅是吉姆与帕姆之间的关系，迈克尔和简、瑞安和凯利，以及德怀特和安吉拉之间的关系也都有所进展。而斯克兰顿分行则继续存在着裁员传闻，导致一名员工被解雇。随着本季的进展，吉姆和帕姆的关系也在继续发展，但最终的结局却令人震惊。

　　The BBC will air Return to Paradise, a new Australia-set spin-off from one of the UK’s most watched dramas Death in Paradise. Filming next year, the six-part series will be produced by BBC Studios Productions Australia with Red Planet Pictures for the ABC, in association with the BBC.
