　　Joy（唐·弗兰奇 Dawn French 饰）每天都小心的呵护着自己的玩具娃娃，并坚信有一天他会成为自己真正的孩子。怪异的盲人老头Lomax独自住在一所大房子里，有着古怪的收藏嗜好。失意的独手小丑Jelly专为儿童表演节目，但只会表演一个节目。侏儒Robert暗恋剧团女主角，却总遭到众人的捉弄。心智不成熟的David（史蒂夫·佩姆伯顿 Steve Pemberton 饰）是个杀手文化狂热者，痴迷于血腥的游戏，母亲间不惜一切代价保护着不谙世事的儿子。

　　Neal Caffrey（马修•波莫 Matthew Bomer 饰）是一个英俊迷人的犯罪大师，4年前因为一宗伪造国债案被联邦调查局的死对头Peter Burke（蒂姆•迪凯 Tim DeKay 饰）送进了监狱。Neal因为挚爱Kate（萝丝•拜恩 Rose Byrne 饰）的突然离去，毅然选择了在刑满释放的前夕逃狱。Peter在当天就抓捕了Neal，为此Neal的刑期又多追加了4年。Neal为了自由也为了早日找到Kate他顺利利用自己犯罪大师的优势成为了FBI的特聘顾问，并且成了死对头Peter的搭档，俩人合体屡破奇案。Neal由于戴着GPS脚铐，行动受到限制，所以他暗地里让自己的老搭档Mozzie（威利•加森 Willie Garson 饰）帮他寻找Kate的下落。扑朔迷离的真想慢慢展开，一切充满了阴谋的味道。

Also, Dawson is working on a new movie, a horror film titled "Wicked Dead" with him as the assistant director and the hack Todd Carr as director. When he finally gets together with Joey, he is the only one to have remembered her 20th birthday.

　　据福斯电视部门老大加里·纽曼透露，新一季《X档案》可能因主演档期问题，延后至2018年底或2019年播出。但有望由上季的6集扩充至10集。作为经典剧集，《X档案》一直有着一批忠实粉丝。 即使在停播了14年后，于2016年初播出了全新的故事，首集便吸引到1350万观众收看。
