　　本剧根据Tony Hillerman的“Leaphorn & Chee”系列小说改编，拥有一个全美国原住民阵容的编剧室。Graham Roland（《杰克·莱恩》）打造，Vince Calandra（《利器》）担任剧集运作人，Chris Eyre（《烟火讯号》）为试播集导演，三位将联同George R.R. Martin、Robert Redford、主演Zahn McClarnon一起执行制片。
　　故事发生在1971年莫纽门特谷地附近纳瓦霍族保留地的一个偏远前哨站，部落执法官里的Joe Leaphorn警督（Zahn McClarnon 饰）被一系列看似无关的案件搞得应接不暇。他越是接近真相，越是揭露出自己过往的创伤。Leaphorn和新来的警官Jim Chee（Kiowa Gordon 饰）一起调查着这些案件，而Chee也有些年轻时在保留地的一些宿怨需要解决。两人一起在通往救赎的道路上，与邪恶势力、彼此和他们自己的心魔战斗。

　　Plot of the series:
　　In the series “Catherine Season 4 Favorites,” the reign of the Great Empress of Russia, Catherine Alekseevna II, continues. The events take place in 1779, when the queen has been on the throne for seventeen years and has reached the peak of her greatness. 　　在《殖民地 Colony》演出Sarah Wayne Callies继续饰演Sara Tancredi﹑Amaury Nolasco﹑Robert Knepper及Rockmond Dunbar也确定回归饰演Fernando﹑T-Bag及C-Note。饰演Paul Kellerman的Paul Adelstein也宣布回归。
　　《克朗代克 Klondike》的Augustus Prew﹑《马可波罗 Marco Polo》的Rick Yune及《屠魔战士 I, Frankenstein》的Steve Mouzakis已加盟，Augustus Prew饰演Whip，一个风趣﹑但十分疯狂的人，个性异常激进。Rick Yune饰演Ja，一个韩国身份窃贼，从他披头散发的外貌看不出是个天才。Steve Mouzakis则饰演Van Gogh，一个很强，但性格疯癫的人。

　　《骨肉之躯 Flesh and Bone》的Marina Benedict饰演A&W，一个疯狂的女反派，为了完成自己临死前希望达到的目标，因而不顾自己的身体健康。《Miss India America》的Kunal Sharma饰演Sid，一个具艺术气息﹑性格古怪，身陷牢狱的人。他的罪行被指是犯了同性恋罪。（在也门，同性恋会被处以死刑。）

　　在一艘有800年历史的罗慕兰飞船被发现后，伯纳姆船长和美国发现号被派去取回它。但里面的文物被盗，开始了一场史诗般的追逐。萨鲁获得终身职位。
