　　程子东（廖伟雄饰）任职家庭电器用品营业主任，与女友陆家宜（毛舜筠饰）已到谈婚论嫁之地步。东自父身故，便负起照顾母亲周丽娟﹝谭倩红饰﹞、弟子南（黎耀祥饰）和妹子敏（陈佩珊饰）的责任。
