　　该剧为《秘密森林》的衍生剧，以人气角色徐东载为中心展开，讲述由于过去赞助检察官的不正当行为，未来一片漆黑的清州地方检察厅检察官徐东载，因再开发事件而头疼不已时，随着负责女高中生杀人事件，作为检察官的直觉和机会主义者的本能，开始铤而走险的故事。

　　"The 4400" tells the stories of 4,400 alien abductees after they are returned to earth. In the words of the executive producers, these are stories of people dealing with traumatic changes, driven by the mystery of what happened and why. Some of them have been affected in mysterious ways, and some will have certain abilities, both good and bad, so part of the drama will be watching them adjust to these changes within themselves.
　　The series kicks off with a ball of light sailing toward Earth, but rather than the expected catastrophic event, thousands of returned abductees are left with no memory of their otherworldly experiences. Each has been gone anywhere from a few months to several decades but hasn't aged a day.

　　本剧通过十三个案例，讲述了香港一班正义的律师在法庭内唇枪舌战，在庭外经历个人的种种感情考验的经历。一日，阿超伙同别人向阿权寻仇，当街斩杀阿权，警察周文彬（骆应钧 饰）恰巧在场，马上拘捕了阿超。检察官丁柔（陈秀雯 饰）将这件案交给了下属新人在春（欧阳震华 饰）负责，在春其实一直暗暗爱慕者自己的上司，但丁柔早已心有所属，对他更是若即若离；另一方面，刚刚又凭借其出色的经验与技巧帮一谋杀疑犯洗脱罪名的御用大律师颂云（苏杏璇 饰）接了阿超的案件，成为他的辩护律师。颂云为了锻炼女儿承宙（刘美娟 饰），让她全权负责阿超大案件，自己从旁指点。承宙在母亲的指点和大哥承宇（陶大宇 饰）的帮助下到处搜集证据，一场唇枪舌战即将上演！

　　Section 20 are called into Bangkok, Thailand to rescue Chloe Foster, the daughter to British ambassador and longtim friend of Phillip Locke (Green), Robin Foster (Tim McInnerny). The team find the compound where she is being held, but during the raid the kidnappers escape with Chloe. After identifying the lead kidnapper as Ray McQueen (Max Beesley), Michael Stonebridge (Winchester), Damien Scott (Stapleton) and Julia Richmond (Lukes) track him to a nightclub and plant a tracker on him. However, McQueen soon realises he is being tailed and tries to escape with Chloe again, while also contacting Foster to deliver an armed bomb to the embassy where he is negoatiating with the North Koreans. With less than fifteen minutes, Scott and Stonebridge have to find McQueen and contend with a local gang. They ultimately rescue Chloe and apprehend McQueen, but Locke fails to stop Foster before the bomb detonated, killing Foster and a North Korean general
