本片讲述了潍坊风筝、杨家埠木版年画、诸城派古琴、茂腔、花毽等9项非物质文化遗产，以及传承人背后的温情故事。电影由刘琳担任讲述人，共9个故事组成，基于现实生活的本质，打破了纪录片与剧情片的创作框架，用诗意的镜头将非遗的科普与传承人的故事结合，探索真实与虚构的界限，以现实为 针，哲思为线，勾勒出纪录与叙事互为表里的人生画卷。
