　　《绝望的主妇》第五季是跳跃到了五年后。五年后的紫藤街将又是一番如何景象？
　　Katherine终于正式成为第六位主妇。Bree成了家政女王，她与Orson复合的前因后果会在第五季第1集揭晓；Gaby也成了妈，成了肥肥的黄脸婆；Susan将会有新男人；孩子不听话，Lynette焦头烂额；Eddie将会带上新男人和新秘密重返紫藤街。
　　新加盟的男演员Neal McDonough带来了新的神秘感，成为Eddie的新男人；Gale Harold（曾主演知名剧《同志亦凡人》）也将出演 Susan的新男人。Gaby的盲人丈夫Carlos在本季稍后将会复明！而这一重大转折将促使夫妇俩来个彻头彻尾的改变。据说会动用到整容医生。难道 Gaby就是这样戏剧性地从肥胖的黄脸婆回归到光鲜的？

　　本季以美国民间传说“洛亚诺克事件”为故事背景，以纪录片的形式展示。
　　2015年，谢尔比·米勒（莉莉·拉贝饰）、她的丈夫马特·米勒（安德烈·霍兰德饰）和马特的姐姐李·哈里斯（Adina Porter饰）为大热纪录片《我的洛亚诺克噩梦》以经历者的身份进行叙述拍摄。他们在镜头前讲述一年前在北卡罗来纳州居住的农舍里瘆人的经历，包括房子里游荡的鬼魂、手持菜刀的猪头人、食人族邻居、进行“人祭”的英国殖民者等等。纪录片情景再现的部分，由英国演员奥德丽·廷德尔（莎拉·保罗森饰）、多米尼克（小古巴·戈丁饰）、莫奈·图缪西美（安吉拉·贝塞特饰）、艾格尼丝（凯茜·贝茨饰）、奥黛丽的丈夫罗里（伊万·彼得斯饰）等出演。
　　纪录片取得了巨大的成功。次年，制片人西德尼（夏安·杰克逊饰）乘胜追击，推出续集《回到洛亚诺克：地狱三天》。这次是真人秀的形式。他邀请了纪录片主演和故事主人公，回到了当初的农舍，开始为期三天的“地狱式”体验。然而在拍摄过程当中，离奇事件不断发生。在短短的三天里，剧组成员相继死亡，无一幸免。只有亲身经历过的人才知道，“洛亚诺克”，并不只是传说……

　　西夏向宋发动攻击，忠勇的杨宗保（焦恩俊）率兵迎战不敌，未几更传来战死消息。保妻穆桂英（陈秀雯）遂率领杨门孤寡十二女将征西，奋力顽抗外侮，保卫国土。奈何遭朝廷奸臣庞太师（谭炳文）派来的杀手伏击，杨排风（文颂娴）与八妹（黄瑷瑶）更不幸被打落山崖。其后西夏王子李元具（卢惠光）得知二人身份，假意与之相好，一个一个陷阱，难关、到底杨家女将该如何面对？

　　本剧基于Cecelia Ahern所著短篇小说，每个故事都从一个独特的女性视角讲述，探索自己生活中与众不同、荒谬的矛盾和问题，涵盖了各种各样的流派，共8集，每集半小时。

　　Plot of the series:
　　In the series “Catherine Season 4 Favorites,” the reign of the Great Empress of Russia, Catherine Alekseevna II, continues. The events take place in 1779, when the queen has been on the throne for seventeen years and has reached the peak of her greatness. 　　剧集将在美国时间万圣节10月31日首播，首季为10集，主角由旧版电影主角布鲁斯·坎贝尔（Bruce Campbell）饰演，讲述在男主角艾什·威廉姆斯（Ash Williams）对抗恶魔大军30年后，当他们又再一次重临人间时，恶魔们要挟消灭所有的人类，于是艾什成了人类最后的希望。艾什又得再一次拿起他的电锯，然而岁月不留人，这次他得找帮手了。

　　街頭樂師戴名鈸（歐陽震華飾）在危急之際冒充喬步龍（麥長青飾）在舞樂教坊昶麗園都知大人的身份，成功逃過官兵緝捕，但步龍因大火受傷失去部分 記憶，以高仁之名在茶樓當廚師，當兩人重遇時，高仁不知就裡，爽快答應步龍到教坊的廚房工作，原來步龍想利用高仁的音樂造詣為自己建功立業。另一方面，為除後患，步龍向高仁指腹為婚的未婚妻卞玉嫣（鍾嘉欣飾）提出退婚，玉嫣心生不憤決加入教坊當舞優接近步龍，因而認識斬柴妹利在山（胡杏兒飾），在山與玉嫣 惺惺相惜漸成好姊妹，但礙於步龍與高仁的身份錯配，四人關係暗潮洶湧，正值花魁大選舉行，真假情謎逐被揭開……
