　　Since its global debut on Apple TV+, Physical has drawn acclaim from audiences and critics alike, as well as praise for performances by its ensemble cast led by “perfectly cast” and “masterful” Rose Byrne, and stars Rory Scovel, Dierdre Friel and Paul Sparks.
　　Set in the idyllic but fragile beach paradise of sunny 1980s San Diego, Physical is a half-hour dark comedy following Sheila Rubin (Byrne), a quietly tortured, seemingly dutiful housewife supporting her smart but controversial husband’s bid for state assembly. But behind closed doors, Sheila has her own darkly funny take on life she rarely lets the world see. She’s also battling a complex set of personal demons relating to her self-image… that is, until she finds release through the unlikeliest source: the world of aerobics. Season two found Byrne having successfully launched her first fitness video only to encounter some new and bigger obstacles on her path. She is torn between loyalty to her husband (Rory Scovel) and the values he represents, and a dangerous attraction to someone else. And since she’s no longer the only game in town, she finds herself having to outrun some fierce new competitors on the road to building a full-fledged fitness empire.
　　Physical is produced by Tomorrow Studios (an ITV Studios partnership) and created, written and executive produced by Weisman, who also serves as showrunner. This series is directed by Stephanie Laing, who also serves as executive producer alongside Adelstein, Clements and Bachner for Tomorrow Studios, and Byrne.

　　According to a report from TVLine in November 2023, The Rookie is only expected to return for 10 new episodes compared to the usual season orders of around 22.

　　缇萦救父──缇萦（蔡少芬）自幼与父（胡枫）相依为命，侍父至孝。后其父被诬害入狱，为救父她不惜滚针床、赤足踏火炭、饮毒酒、甚至代父受刑。她的孝义终感动皇上赦免其父之罪，并废残酷不仁之五刑。
　　精忠旗──岳珂（魏骏杰）为岳飞之后，忠心爱国，并立志替先祖翻案雪耻，后取得证据可替岳飞翻案，但为顾全先皇颜面，终以鲜血毁证物。此举感动在任皇帝下旨恢复岳家名声，岳珂继祖志显孝，名留青史。
　　目莲救母──目莲（叶蕴仪）自幼被遗，几经辛苦，寻获生母刘青提（魏秋桦），惜其母因杀人被判入狱，后得怪病而死，被困地狱。目莲为救母竟打破地狱门，舍身割肉喂鬼，令其母感动忏悔，令天地为开，修成正果。
　　赵氏孤儿──赵武（罗嘉良）本为忠臣良将之后，因其父被奸臣所害，遭灭门惨变。武为忠仆程婴（刘江）所救并抚养成人，婴为助武诛仇人，更不惜牺牲自己。后武感念养父子之恩，以上卿身分将婴灵位奉养于赵家祠，孝顺之心可昭日月。

　　长年宅居家中的高独美（朴信惠 饰）是个编辑，因为年幼时期受过的伤害，独美把自己封闭了起来。日子就这么平平淡淡的过去，直到独美开始注意到那个人。那个人韩泰俊（金正山 饰）是个医生，也是独美的邻居。独美每日的最大乐趣就是窥看泰俊，幻想着和泰俊在一起的美好日子。这种生活，被泰俊从西班牙归来的表弟安立奎金（尹施允 饰）给全部破坏了。安立奎金是拥有双重国籍的超厉害游戏设计师。而独美的窥探行为被其发现，让独美好不尴尬。二人就在这种坏印象中互相认识，一系列围绕邻里之间的故事就此展开……
　　本剧是花美男三部曲中的第三部。前两部分别是《闭嘴！花美男乐队》和《花美男拉面店》。

　　该剧以吉姓一家三代人为主线，讲述外卖小哥吉小禾（邓超元饰）和元气少女苗卿卿（孙芮饰）意外来到80年代，回到了出生地吉祥村，遇到了吉小禾年轻时候的父亲吉荣光（张欣尧饰）。80年代初，吉荣光的日子过得一塌糊涂，因母亲的病欠了同村村民大笔钱。吉小禾为帮父亲还债，同时也为了改造吉荣光，带他到镇上做生意。凭借“超越时代”的思想，吉小禾百战百胜，不仅帮助吉荣光还清了欠债，还成功帮助吉荣光追上母亲高大夏（宋睿饰）。随后又帮吉荣光在南繁基地打工的过程中做出贡献，获得“中国紧凑型杂交玉米之父”李老师的赏识。后续，吉小禾更是帮助“瓜类育种专家”吴教授解决了难题，带领村民走上致富道路。通过回到过去体验了父辈对土地的感情，也更加热爱土地和自己的父辈。

　　该剧改编自同名人气网漫，是一部令人心动的奇幻爱情剧。讲述对自己不幸的命运逆来顺的人类男子，和为了解开魔咒的女神，投身未知的世界从而展开的跨越残酷命运的故事。
