第12届中国金鹰电视艺术节将于2018年10月12日至14日在湖南长沙举行。                                                                      　　2018年6月14日，中国文学艺术界联合会、湖南省政府、中国电视艺术家协会在北京举行新闻发布会，向社会通报了第29届中国电视金鹰奖评选的有关情况，并介绍第12届中国金鹰电视艺术节活动内容等。中国文联党组成员、副主席郭运德，中国文联副主席、中国视协主席胡占凡等出席新闻发布会。                                                                      　　第29届中国电视金鹰奖共设立电视剧作品奖和电视剧创作单项奖20项，包括最佳电视剧1部、优秀电视剧10部等。值得一提的是，本届金鹰奖将台湾地区演员纳入观众喜爱的男、女演员奖的评选范围，与大陆演员具有同等获得参评资格的权利。                                                                      　　新闻发布会上，湖南广播电视台介绍了第12届中国金鹰电视艺术节筹备工作。本届艺术节主体活动包括开幕式晚会、互联盛典、金鹰论坛、金鹰电竞体育盛典和第29届中国电视金鹰奖颁奖晚会。                                                                      　　中国电视金鹰奖创办于1983年，每年举办一届。2006年后，改为每两年举办一届，迄今已经成功举办了28届。
