　　A 16-year-old Sofía Rivera had to move constantly because of her parents' work and live in the most remote places. Sofía longs for stability in life and finally wants to build long-term friendships and relationships. This wish seems to come true when the family moves to the small mountain village of Río Vivo. But when Sofía discovers a supernatural power that is connected to water, her dreams vanish into thin air. 　　故事发生在1919年，栾学堂（谷智鑫 饰）本是一个命如草芥的小乞丐，流落到北京之后在机缘巧合之下进入了济风楼成为堂倌，之后又因为无意之中得知了掌柜不可告人的秘密而遭到了驱逐。栾学堂命不该绝，在走投无路之际遇见了生命中的贵人，因此创办了丰泽园，开启了自己掌握自己命运的新时代。
　　丰泽园接收了许多来自济风楼的骨干和伙计，因此引来了济风楼掌柜汪德甫（王刚 饰）和厉秋辰（何冰 饰）的记恨，意图从中作梗。之后，栾学堂迎娶了名为关雅丽（原雨 饰）的女子，而关雅丽却是厉秋辰的心上人。姚珍珍（黄薇 饰）一直喜欢着青梅竹马的栾学堂，在得知他已经娶妻的消息后，心碎的姚珍珍投身到了轰轰烈烈的抗日事业之中。

　　1993年，特技演员烈风（方中信 饰）与女友贺千惠（萱萱 饰）、好友凌克洋（林保怡 饰）前往西安旅游，却意外地在古墓中见到了幼年时的救命恩人步荆红（王菲 饰），他震惊于步荆红20年如一日的容貌并展开了调查。原来步荆红是秦朝时获得长生不老药的舞姬胭脂，孤独千年，只为寻找变 回正常人的秘方，而她不知的是，同样获得了不死之身的秦将军嬴战（单立文 饰）一直都在追寻她的下落。烈风在寻找真相的同时渐渐爱上了步荆红，而荆红却一再压抑，拒绝感情。命运交织，改名为盛世秦的嬴战终于找到了荆红，而他依然不改残暴本性，祸害人间，想尽办法拆散烈风与荆红，并且还想彻底破坏荆红成为普通人的愿望。

　　耿兆琪和李向功是战争年代的生死之交。其子女耿天放和李梦柔被视为郎才女貌天造一双。耿兆琪承诺李向功，让天放和梦柔定下终身。订婚时天放却毁约了。此举导致耿李两家关系破裂，梦柔的弱智哥哥大彪在此期间走失，李向功竟也气绝身亡。耿兆琪和儿子断绝了关系并发誓，即便死也要找回大彪，以赎儿子的不义之罪！天放历经坎坷，被欺骗，被利用，为爱所伤也为爱伤过别人进过劳教，但终没得到父亲的原谅。老耿历尽千辛终于找回了大彪像亲儿般细心照料，他终于可以带着大彪在李向功墓前兴奋告慰了；为赶写《伟大的父爱》一书，天放的眼角膜坏死双目失明了，而此时老耿也被查出癌症晚期，在生命的最后一刻，他委托做了眼科医生的李梦柔把自己的眼睛膜移植给了儿子，并留下一句话给他：“父爱是金，诚信做人。”

　　大山集团秘书室组长徐东柱（朴炯植 饰）表面上是忠诚的下属，但实则野心勃勃，一直渴望攀上集团顶峰。一次偶然的机会，他意外得到一笔2兆韩元黑金，本来想用这笔钱改变命运，但反而陷入生命危险，为对抗幕后黑手，展开一场夺金复仇之旅。

These discoveries and aspects of his own history deriving from dark experiences on the Eastern front, lead him to question his own actions and moral path. They also lead him to a shadowy figure caught up in a conspiracy that might change the course of the War - for the better. That man, very much changed by his own shattering experiences, is Klaus Hoffmann (Rick Okon). These two historically based strands come together in an unexpected, thrilling finale.
