　　根据同名小说改编，这是拉莱·索科洛夫（Lale Sokolov）的真实故事，他是一名犹太囚犯，在第二次世界大战期间被指派在奥斯威辛-比克瑙集中营为其他囚犯的手臂纹上身份编号。

Getting dressed to contest the warrant, Wesley accidentally finds a positive pregnancy test. Lopez is promoted detective and opts to hold off on announcing her pregnancy for a clean start as a rookie detective.

　　故事发生在二十世纪七十年代，凤凰小镇坐落在凤凰山下，是一个洋溢着宁静与安详气息的世外桃源。单纯善良的何三妹（练束梅 饰）爱上了在思想宣传队工作的李大庆（李健 饰），两人情投意合很快就走到了一起。然而这段感情却被一直暗恋着何三妹的杨豆筋（刘亭作 饰）抹黑成为了“奸情”，何三妹受到了组织的严厉惩罚，被发配到偏远的河东小学任教。
　　之后，杨豆筋又使诈，使得何三妹同李大庆之间产生了误会，杨豆筋此时趁虚而入，欺骗蒙蔽了天真的何三妹，让她成为了自己的新娘。在新婚之夜，何三妹终于识破了杨豆筋的真面目，可是一切都为时已晚，等待着何三妹的，是充满了屈辱和痛苦的婚姻生活。

　　主要講述中文老師盧文達（劉俊謙飾演）奈何教績強差人意，教學生涯一直徘徊在淘汰邊緣。同時校長（智叔飾演）計劃將學校轉為直資學校，而出身清貧、曾受惠於學校創辦人有教無類宗旨的林副校（秀雯飾演）認為此舉有違書院的辦學理念，不想讓學校變成貴族學店而設法阻止。於是她以轉長約為條件成功威逼利誘盧文達為她效命，暗中施計企圖拉倒轉直資的方案。
